A simple life, without stress, following the rhythm of tasty vegetarian meals, my interventions in schools, fields visits to meet farmers and occasionally help the Rain Drop with administrative work.
To contribute to Rain Drop’s action by delving in a world so different than ours has been one of my most intense experience. Full of strong and sometimes contradictory feelings, faced with poverty and yet so much joy and hospitality. I strongly recommend those interested to take part in Rain Drop’s work, in whichever way they can !
This trip, all too short, allowed me to discover the realities of rural India. I had little knowledge about people there and their culture. I would like to go back for a longer time, to make documentaries on the social and environmental issues there.
I had the opportunity to organise one day of training to teach village women make jam. Though the communication was difficult at first, it’s finally between indian and french songs that we managed to prepare 10 kg of guava and amla jam.
I’ve been following and helping in Rain Drop’s adventure for a couple years now. It’s with enthusiasm that I see it brings support to the villagers they work with. One step at a time, Rain Drop makes things change !
